Death, is a doorway.

The past cannot be forgotten. In many forms we shall return ~scroll of the dead.

Death is a doorway and an ancient Egyptian tomb holds salvation in the afterlife. Everything that one needed to live in this life was taken to the next. The very life they lived here on earth was believed to continue without interruption in the next.

In the most famous tomb ever found, that of King Tutankhamun, were over 5,000 artifacts, everything from lifesize statues of Anubis, golden thrones, ostrich fans, walking sticks, sandals, treasure chests with jewelry still inside, even boardgames, his personal favorite being "Senet" there were also clothes of the finest linen, walking sticks (King Tut had mobility issues) and of course food and wine, over 30 bottles, even combes made of elephant ivory.

The world didnt know what was inside of a Pharaohs tomb until Howard Carter discovered it in 1922, 100 years ago. There are even greater tombs still undiscovered in Egypt. We have no idea where Imhotep is buried, or Cleopatra, or any of the Ptolemaic line. Not even Alexander the Great. All of these are buried deep in the sands of the Sahara, waiting to be discovered.
